ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar approved advance payment of salaries and pensions for the current month to all Federal Government employees and pensioners belonging to Christian community on 22nd March 2016.
According to the Director General of Media for the Ministry of Finance, the decision has been taken to facilitate Christian Community to enjoy the festivities of Easter falling on 27nd March 2016.
It may be recalled that the Government had also allowed advance payment of salaries and pensions to Christian employees and pensioners on the occasion of Christmas last December.
