Air Commodore Mohammad Haseeb Paracha & Air Commodore Tameez Uddin Shakir Qazi promoted to the rank of Air Vice Marshal

KARACHI: Air Commodore Mohammad Haseeb Paracha & Air Commodore Tameez Uddin Shakir Qazi promoted to the rank of Air Vice Marshal.

Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Haseeb Paracha was commissioned in GD (P) Branch of Pakistan Air Force in November, 1986. During his illustrious career, he has commanded a Fighter Squadron, a Flying Wing and
an Operational Air Base. In his staff appointments, he has served as Director (Plans) and as Chief Project Director at Directorate of Weapon System Management (F-16) at Air Headquarters. He has also served as Air Attache at USA.


He is a graduate of Combat Commanders’ School, Command & Staff College (UK) and National Defence University, Islamabad. He holds Master’s Degree in Defence Studies (UK) and Master’s in Defence & Strategic Studies. He is a recipient of Tamgha-i- Imtiaz (Military).

Air Vice Marshal Tameez-Uddin Shakir Qazi was commissioned in GD (P) Branch of Pakistan Air Force in April, 1987. During his illustrious career, he has commanded a Fighter Squadron and a Support Wing. He has served in Gambia on Deputation and in China on Posting. He has also served as Directing Staff at Air War College, Faisal. Presently he is serving as Assistant Director General, Air Force Strategic Command at Air Headquarters.


He is a graduate of Combat Commanders’ School, Air Command & Staff College Iran and Air War College. He holds a Master’s Degree in Defence Affairs Management (Iran) and two Master’s Degrees in Strategic Studies. He is a recipient of Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military).
