Pakistan Team might leave for INDIA in next 24 hours

LAHORE: Chairman PCB addressed the players today at NCA, Lahore. He briefed the players on the security situation in India.

According to the statement issued by the PCB, the chairman PCB said that the ICC and PCB are in constant contact, and he was hopeful that the security assurance would be given and the information pertaining to the security situation will be furnished to the interior ministry of Government of Pakistan for their further directions in this regard.

 
He appraised the team that the decision to visit India will be taken by the government. In case, the government allows travel to India, the team should focus on the game and demonstrate a high level of discipline and commitment. He backed the players to do well on and off the field, as they were the ambassadors of the country and the public had great expectation from them.

On this occasion, Intikhab Alam, Team Manager, thanked the Chairman PCB for the confidence he showed upon the players. He reassured that there will be no compromise on the discipline and the players were looking forward to perform and fulfill the expectations of public back home.

Itikhab Alam reiterated, even though Team Pakistan was in the strong group compromising Australia, New Zealand, host India and a qualifying team, it will give them the courage to perform well in the World T-20.

On the other hand, the sources said that the Pakistan Team might leave for INDIA in next 24 hours.
