Prime Minister directs Foreign Office to send wheat supply to Kunduz




WASHINGTON: Taking notice of the food shortage faced by returning residents of Kunduz in Afghanistan, Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has directed the Foreign Office, Government of Pakistan to arrange for transportation of a plane-load of wheat stock.

This measure is being taken as a goodwill gesture on behalf of the people and the Government of Pakistan for the returning residents of Kunduz facing severe food shortage after Taliban retreat.
